Palm Beach Marine Institute follows students for three years
after graduation to document their success rate. Program success
such as ours is the focus of youth violence studies around
the country.

Studies such as those
researched by the MacArthur
Foundation show that juvenile offenders completing a treatment
and behavior modification program have life long reduced recidivism
(repeat offenses). This is one of our measures of
success.
Palm Beach Marine Institute measures success in three ways:
- Increased Academic Skills
- Increased Vocational Skills
- Reduced or Eliminated Recidivism
Our success rate remains over 75%, but often is higher.
75% or more of Palm Beach Marine Institute students have
no further negative contact with the juvenile justice system.
For at risk youth who have successfully completed programs
such as ours, studies show that recidivism remains lower throughout
their adult lives.

development; please check back soon.
